Data Deletion

Effective and last updated: 2026-08-10

1. Request deletion

Email hello@befoaftr.com from your account email with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” Include the workspace name and whether you want account, workspace, media, or Instagram connection data deleted.

2. Scope

After verification we delete or de-identify, as a rule: channel access tokens and connection identifiers (including Instagram and YouTube); account and workspace records; site, asset, and job metadata in the Studio service database; and original or generated media hosted by Studio (for example uploads, synthesized images, and videos stored in Cloudinary).

Keeping media separately for model training, benchmarking, or product improvement happens only with an explicit opt-in during signup, onboarding, or settings (off by default). Once a deletion request is verified, we also remove that media from any such training or improvement retention. We do not keep originals after a deletion request merely because the data may be commercially valuable.

Payment or transaction records required by law, security or dispute logs, and residual infrastructure backups may be retained separately for a limited period and then deleted. Those residuals are not kept as a training or marketing corpus.

Content already published on external platforms such as Instagram must be removed through that platform’s tools. We can disconnect the Studio connection and ask the workspace to remove posts we do not control.

3. Processing timeline (SLA)

Acknowledgment: for requests we can verify as coming from the account holder or an authorized admin, we aim to confirm receipt within 1 business day.

In-scope deletion: within 7 business days we aim to delete or de-identify accounts, channel connections, Studio service database records, and Studio-hosted original or generated media, and to send a processing result.

Residual cleanup: backups, security logs, and records kept for legal or infrastructure reasons are cleaned up or segregated for later destruction with a maximum target of 30 days.

You may also revoke Instagram app access in Instagram’s Apps and Websites settings.
